Upload Your Mixes
If you are supplying music to us then please follow the steps below before uploading.
1. If you are adding the stings and idents (which you can download here) then space these out through the mix ensuring at least a 10 minute gap between each but ideally about 15 minutes. If you are unsure upload the mix clean. Please add ‘keep the idents high in the mix, ideally 3-6 dB above the mix. Slinky.FM’s online DSP processing will take care of the rest.
2. If you are doing a phone interview which you want us to add to the mix then mention this in the upload form message section.
3. When you compress your mix ensure that you do this at 320Kbps CBR mp3 with the high quality setting (if available) as we broadcast at high quality and anything less will not sound good one we master the content.
4. Please ensure your show is the right length otherwise if it overruns it will have the end cut off.
5. Shows must be supplied 48 hours before playout is due. A confirmation email will be sent once we have received your mix. If you don’t get confirmation we have not received the content so please contact us ASAP.
6. Please name your mp3 files and give them the correct ID3 tag data otherwise identifying them is very difficult.
